Today we have released a hotfix for Skype 4.0 for iPhone and iPad.

Skype for iPhone and iPad updated

You may have noticed that we've just launched an update to our Skype for iPhone and Skype for iPad apps today.

Updating the app gives you the following:

• Ability to move your own video preview during a video call.
• Improvements to the UI - specifically the contact list and chat input.
• User is logged back into Skype if the app shuts down while running in the background.
• Improved accessibility.
• General bug fixes.

Please also note that our iPhone and iPad apps will now only support iOS 4.3 and above.

Skype 3.5 for iPhone and iPad Hotfix: Resolved account sync issue

Skype 3.5 for iPhone and iPad Hotfix released.

Today we've released an update to iPhone (version 3.5.117) and iPad (version 3.5.118) which includes the following fixes:

• Upgrades to version 3.5 on iPhone will properly sync all Skype contacts, Skype Credit, avatar, online number, voicemail and call forwarding configurations
• Italian language fix

Skype 3.5 for iPhone and iPad - Auto-Shake Technology & Bluetooth Connectivity

Today we have released new versions (3.5.84) of Skype for iPhone and iPad. From now on, both clients will share the same version number since we have unified the code. iPhone & iPad Bluetooth Connectivity

You will now be able to use Bluetooth-enabled headsets to make hands-free Skype calls.

Anti-Shake Video image stabilization on iPhone

We are introducing new feature for mobile video calling. When video shaking is detected, Skype automatically stabilizes the video image. It works when using your rear camera.

Incoming emoticons on iPhone instant message

Incoming emoticons are now properly displayed in iPhone instant messaging.

Updated UI in iPhone

New graphics, chat and call look for iPhone.

The new Skype for iPad update supports both iPad and iPad 2. The Skype for iPhone update supports the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, 2nd and 3rd Generation iPod Touch, and both iPad and iPad 2.

• iOS 4.0 or later is required on all devices.
