Skype 5.0 Gold for Mac

We released Skype 5.0 Gold for Mac. We would like to thank all of you for providing an extensive amount of feedback to us during the beta period. We have incorporated many items from the feedback raised in this 'gold' release. In addition we would like to make a big bow in front of our Closed Beta testers and localizer community, for the huge contributions made during the entire development period.

With the release of Skype 5.0 for Mac, we have made following improvements:

Resizing UI

Sidebar shrinks as the window gets smaller when the content area is at its minimum size. It remembers the last position the user dragged it to and will grow back to this position.

Sidebar collapses when the window is too small to show it and un-collapses when it gets large enough again.

Full Screen video calling

Users can activate full screen video calls either on 1:1 or Group Video calls.

Improved visibility in of 'Dial pad' and 'Add Contacts'

We have increased the visibility of 'Dial pad' by moving it to title bar, and improved 'Add Contacts' functionality during calls and conversations.

Application	Occasional freeze for Leopard users if they right click to open context menus when running PGP Desktop application	Upgrade to the latest version of PGP Desktop
Call	In Leopard can not press number keys on keyboard to generate touch tones	Use buttons in dial pad (CMD + 2)
Call	Some users cannot leave a voicemail	None available at the moment

Contacts	Adding a non-authorized user into a conversation was not always possible
Instant Messaging	No way to select emoticons from emoticons window using VoiceOver
Application	Split view glitch when redirected to Voicemail
Application	Redraw issue in conversation participant list when call is live but you are not in it
Application	Removing profile picture from profile view didn't change the avatar in the main toolbar
Application	Missed event in dock after accepted authorization request
Application	Dial pad wasn't populated with default country flag
