New features in Skype Web Toolbars
A few days ago we published a hotfix of the Skype Web Toolbars. We put a few new features in there which I hope you will find interesting:
- PayPal merchants highlighting: If you are a PayPal user you will find it useful to have merchants highlighted in search results. It works on Google, Live/MSN and Ask search results so far. You will see a logo such as this one inserted in your search results:
That will inform you, that the link points you to a merchant that accepts PayPal payments. This feature has been developed together with PayPal. You can read more about it here: - Save images to Skype: By right-clicking on any image on a web page you can either send the image file directly to a Skype contact or use the image as your Skype avatar:
- Call with home: Sometimes you might not want to call a phone number you find on a web page directly with Skype, but actually with your home phone. To make that easier you can now right click a number found on a page and select Call with home.
The web toolbar will then set up a conference call with three parts. This settings diaog might explain it better:

When will we get outbound caller ID from Skype?

I may be missing something here and there is no demonstration of what happens when you make a Skype "Call with home phone" to tell me different hence this comment.
When I click the drop down to select this option I was expecting the call to be placed right away and not have to rewrite the number I am dialing in Skype.
Is this the way it works or am I missing some step to automate this?
