Virtual school visits using Skype
Peace One Day aims to make free education materials available to every school on Earth, inspiring young people to act on Peace Day – the 21st September.
As part of our partnership with Peace One Day, we’ve sponsored the creation of a lesson plan which promotes peaceful relationships through communication. The video above gives you a snapshot of a virtual visit by Peace One Day’s founder Jeremy Gilley to a school in Hampshire, UK as part of this programme.
Free Skype video calls are a great way to bring people into schools, universities and other learning environments – even when they’re cities or continents away. Other examples from around the web include these – a middle school class in Maryland, US speaking to Larry Lessig about remix culture, and my favourite, a pupil at a school in North Carolina, US who has been attending all of his classes remotely.

The children from All Saints were attentive and motivated. That's great. Adding Sept 21st Peace Day to my calendar so I'll be ready to celebrate along with them.

I'm thinking that Skype Mobile can enhance the collection of evidence for child custody issues. See this link. If this works the way I think it will, it could add 10-15 million new customers. Your opinion?
