3 Skypephone S2: the blogosphere's verdict
I posted a few early photos and videos of the 3 Skypephone S2 on the UK blog on Tuesday, but thought it was time to share some more of what we've seen around the blogosphere.
The combination of free calls and cheap high speed internet access (using the handset's HSDPA modem capabilities) seems to be a favourite among those who've tried the phone so far, and I've summarised a few of the latest reviews below.

@papalazarou18 Unfortunately, Skype personal online numbers (SkypeIn numbers) don't currently work with the 3 Skypephone S1 or S2.

i posted this on 3mobile buzz but it's still awaiting moderation ... i guess nobody wants to read about bad news, but the reality is that the S2 is a device that has taken 2 steps forward, but ended up 3 steps behind ... read on
"i’m sorry but the round up does not contain anything new … by far, the most frustrating change is the JVM which has stripped off a number of key JSRs that could have made this a useful device. of the java apps that ran on the original skypephone, i can only persuade the S2 to run the ’sky mobile’ app. what’s inexcusable is the google shortcut that takes you to google mail & google maps but NEITHER will install on the amoi 8512. come on three, sort it out!!!"

I have the same problem as ericmobilelaptop with regards to the google applications. It also won't let me go into 3's own musicstore on the new S2 - something I could do on the old one.
I'm told at a 3 UK store that the new S2 phone has not yet been fully integrated into their systems - but am told it should all be working by next Saturday. We will see!

Anyone know where I can ger some apps for this phone ??? some fun tools, in particular I am looking for a converter, weights, distance etc
