Half a billion downloads

Skype reached half a billion (in other words, 500 million) downloads about two weeks ago. We reached this in 42 months since the launch in August 2003. As of today, six or more people download Skype every second as we speak.

that's great, now only hoping that a new version for linux is avaible soon soo, so that the downloads can be doubled :))
