The emotional wall

Skype icons have been on display before but never in such large numbers, nor square meters. I believe it's our designers' new favourite wall in our London office. Kind of tucked away but you cannot not notice it when walking around.

Emoticonwall

If you haven't seen some of these emoticons before then you either didn't know we had them or are not using the latest version of Skype that sports them all (+ some hidden ones). Larger version of the emoticons below.

I have hit the wall. Maybe someone here can help.

I have contacted Support by email twice, and have yet to receive any answer other than an automated form.

I cannot transfer my number - even though in your manuals it specifically says it is possible. I have been trying to transfer my number since June, 2006. It is now October, 2006. My carrier has specifically said that the hold up is on my current provider: Skype. Given that I have no information from Skype whatsoever other than an automated email acknowledging my existence, I will have to assume that Skype is indeed the holdup.

I am in the United States, and would really appreciate anything of substance from Skype. I realize that this has been a free service, but I cannot see recommending this to anyone given the problems I have encountered after purchasing a number from Skype.

A formerly happy customer who is sick of waiting for four months for a number transfer,

David Stewart
