I would like to have Skype transfer directly to the number I specified to call forwarding, rather than ringing 9 times. Callers may just hang before the call is forwarded.

I would like to have Caller ID for outgoing calls, too. As an active participant of the forum, this is more than an overdue feature. How long would it take to implement?

It is not that difficult - it is simpler than call forwarding feature.

Congratulation for far, but there is still a lot to do to place Skype in an indisputable leader position. Competition is becoming for ferocious, so complacency is out the equation

There is no way of downloading the latest version of Skype as the links provided are all incorrect. I have attempted to download the installation file from multiple links, including the built-in update option and all failed.

Earlier I updated the application from my corporate computer. Please update the links as a matter of urgency!

I think you have to come up with a web based interface for call forwarding. If you are out and about, not having access to a Skype equipped windows computer it can cause som problem not being able to change the call forwarding.

Ideal would to also have access from cell-phone e.g through WAP. This will make the call forwarding really interesting and usable!

You MUST be kidding! Now SkypeIn does not ring and calls are all rejected or sent to voicemail. Way to go and congratulations for ignoring problems that have been reported to you for weeks. The only good news is that losing SkypeIn only costs 10 Euros.

You should be ashamed to pretend that this last version was stable and that you are WORKING on this. Unless you start understanding what real customer service is, you won't ever collect your Ebay Bonus.

What it doesn't say is whether call forwarding works with SkypeIn calls as well as Skype calls (it says Skype calls, but is this inclusive or exclusive of SkypeIn?)

With Skype 1.0.40.71, I frequently get ERROR CODE 2 when trying to leave a voicemail to a non voicemail user. I have the voicemail option. This never happened before. Am I the only one?

I am using beta 1.4 - when I load Skype I have the beta screen but after about a minute the screen goes blank and I am asked if I want to load official version 1.4 - if I press cancel Skype is closed! If I say Yes, then a browser is opened and about halfway through loading skype/download it comes up with URL not found! When I try and load Skype.com from the browser it is also not found...so no Skype available!!!! I am in Pakistan...could the government have blocked Skype?

Skype 1.4.0.71 is not so good as it seems. many time it seems like i'm off-line and the people i chat to too. Sometimes, it happen i send message to people and they don't receive it even after some minutes or hours.
I prefer the old one which hadn't problem like that.

After installation of the new version Skype Windows 1.4, the program requires to log in again. However the log in procedure does not work. I deleted the new version again and reinstall the previous one which allows me inmediately to log in and perfectly runs. What is wrong with version 1.4?

I downloaded the 1.4 update (I use Windows XP)but if I try & run the application I receive windows error message 'skypesetup.exe is not a valid win32 application'. Looks like I'll stick with my older version a while longer!!!

I am very disappointed in the changes to the Search functionality. There is no longer an Advanced Search, which means the fields for which the search can be performed are very limited. For example, I can no longer search on the land line phone number or on information in the "About" field of the profile (which was not working reliably anyway, but was very useful when it did work).

Please bring back full search capabilities!

I think upgrade is a misnomer. How about a rename to (f***)-up grade?

Skype should have stayed in the old owner's hands..I don't see any great things happening in the new version 1.4 . Ebay should put some scientists working to get our skype working the way it was before.

By the way, I cannot even download the new version..It gives me an error message: Win32 application is not valid...WOULD YOU PLEASE MAKE THE DAMN UPDATE VALID AND MAKE IT WORK TOO....

all new versions or upgrades of any online product has teething problems, can't always be perfect!! Feedback helps make it better but if your going to complain about the "free" service which is provided, then maybe you shouldn't use it!!!

How do I get back to the previous version of Skype (1.3 ?)
I downloaded the new 1.4 version and it stinks. It takes up too much room on the desktop with a lot of stuff I am not interested in and has a lot of confusing nonsense going on. The other version, nice and simple, worked! Ever since the down load communication is virtually unintlligable, garbled and distorted, coming in little chunks of partial words with weird noises between. Can anybody recommend a VOIP that works?

I am a Skype 1.1 user and would like to upgrade to 1.4.
However I will not touch it untill I read here that all Skype problems had been resolved.
Should this not happen within a reasonable time limit, I will move to MSN and will move with me my user community.

I have windows xp, and I have big problems with skype. It needs half an hour to sign in and another half an hour to talk normally. It is always shown: "not responding" I'm tired. Help me please.
