hi, i just wanted to leave a comment because i find the look and interface of the new skype extremely irritating... is there a way to have separate windows again?
right now i have my list of contacts to the left, then a partition, and then on the left a big blank space, where when i click on a contact to chat or talk, it goes there, instead of opening in a separate window. its really really irritating. is there a setting where that can be changed?

Just watched the video of the Estonia office & want to move there so I can become employed by you guys.(love animals) I love skype & have recently moved from the USA to Australia.Could'nt have stayed in touch with everyone, if it weren't for skype!!!
why don't you have an office in Australia?? If you need to start one... I'm your gal.

have you tried loading up module docs and look for Skype4Py? I am new to Skype4Py, about 2 weeks now, but the docs provide some examples of usage and I have been able to learn a fair share of how the library operates from there. You can also post on the forums under Public API for assistance, I have had great experiences there so far:

Trying to report a bug, cannot find bug tracker or forum for such.
When changing the forward calls timer it affects the voicemail forward timer and vice versa. Ver 4.2.0.169.
Previous public version allowed 1 second for forward to mobile and 15 seconds to voicemail.
Now if I set 1 sec to forward to mobile, voicemail picks up after 1 second.

in both ver 4.2 and Beta, using Vista, calls freeze about 2 minutes in.
Ver 4.2 - very difficult to reconnect and calls last only about 1 minute or less thereafter.
Beta 5 - calls do not reconnect AT ALL. First call ends in less than 2 minutes. Constant tries on both sides to reconnect to no avail.
Have gone back to very 3.8 out of frustration. The past year since ver 4+ have been a nightmare. This happens ONLY with one caller - my father on a Mac in NYC, me on Vista Home Premium in LA. Neither computer has problems with Skype with any other caller.
Since Googling this problem identifies many people with this issue, you would think they would find a fix, but these latest versions have definitely made an annoying problem much worse.

I have Windows 7 and am unable to use the Video mode to initiate calls. I'm getting a message that my system is incompatible. Any thoughts?

How do we sign up as developers to submit bug reports, etc? There are currently several issues with the Skype FireWire and Capture Card integration that prevent these services from being used however the traditional customer support blows them off...

I have the same question. The new skype for mac has condensed everything into one block and it's very inconvenient and annoying. The buttons are all wrong, and hard to use. And I don't like that there are NO time signatures on each comment that is made. I can't tell when a comment was made by me or the other person, unless it is strictly a back and forth convo. A comment made by someone at a certain time, and then say an hour later, reads as having been sent at the same time as the first. This can cause issues.
I would really like that fixed, and the ability to separate the text part of the convo, from the video window, as well as being able to move MY face from sitting in front of the face of whoever I'm speaking with! I'd like to see them entirely without having to fullscreen!
Those are my issues for now. I hope to get a response.

BTW, I just mentioning that it appears that the old skype from when "stunning" made the comment seems to have the same issues as the new skype from March 25th 2011, when I posted.
Please address these issues.

I am a Service Provider and would like the ability to place calls to and from Skype Users into my VoIP switch. I was told by my skype contact that actually fits a developer request. Can someone here guide me in the right direction?
