When words fail try Mojis and photo sharing on Windows Phone

Sometimes words just aren’t enough to really capture how you feel. So, we’ve released Mojis and photo sharing to Windows Insiders for the Preview of Skype Integration for Windows 10 Mobile.

These features will also be rolling out soon for everyone to enjoy in the Preview of Skype Integration for Windows 10 Mobile and Mojis will be coming to the Skype app for Windows Phone 8 and above.

Mojis

With Mojis on Windows Phone devices you will have plenty of ways to express yourself — whether you fancy Minions or Muppets to deliver your happy sentiments, or Sherlock to perfectly convey your cynical response. The ability to personalize your chat and pull in your favorite TV or movie moments to do the talking for you will be easier than ever

In the Preview of Skype integration for Windows 10 Mobile, you will find Mojis in the emoticon roster after switching to Skype mode from the Messaging app. You will also find Mojis in the emoticon roster in the standalone Skype application on Windows Phone 8 and above.

Photo Sharing

Our top ask in the Preview of Skype integration for Windows 10 Mobile preview has been to add support to share files and photos, so that’s exactly what we did. You can share photos via the Messaging app in Skype mode.

Skype for Windows PhoneWe are always looking at ways we can make your Skype experience even better, more integrated and easily accessible from more places, so stay tuned for more to come.

Your feedback is also important to us and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. Just search for “Windows Feedback” in your Windows search bar, select the app and add new feedback. You can also up-vote feedback posted by others. Let us know what you think!
