Mojis: Express Yourself on Skype Like Never Before

Sometimes real life feels like it’s straight out of a movie and mere words just don’t do it justice. Now, when you send a message on Skype, you can personalize your chat and pull in your favorite TV or movie moments to do the talking for you. Mojis are short clips from your favorite movies and TV shows that you can put directly into a Skype chat when words aren’t enough to capture for that “ah-hah,” “haha,” or “yikes” moment.

We are thrilled to introduce Mojis, a brand new way to express yourself on Skype! This is an exciting new step on a journey to make Skype an even more personal experience.

Skype Mojis

Sending a Moji is as easy as tapping the emoticon button. Browse by movie or by expression, preview the Moji, and drop it in the chat to do the talking for you.

We’ve scoured the archives and handpicked the funniest, craziest, and most iconic moments from some of the best TV and movies out there. We are excited to team up with Universal Studios, Disney Muppets, BBC and other studios around the world to continuously bring you new films and characters to add to your Moji collection. This first Moji release will kick things off with fan favorites such as Despicable Me, Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect, Jurassic Park, The Muppets, and so much more. Keep a lookout for new and exciting worldwide content coming soon in a never before assembled collection!

We had so much fun bringing Mojis to life, and can’t wait for you to try them out. If you are on the latest Skype app for Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS, you will see the Mojis as they begin to roll out.

Keep a lookout for your emoticon picker to be updated with new tabs for Mojis, so make sure you’re on the latest app. Got feedback? We’d love to hear it! Please head over to the Skype Community.
