Stay Together with Skype – Tell Your Story for a Chance to Win!

From dads to grandmas, aunts to in-laws, kids to cousins and beyond, family members of all kinds (including pets) are staying in touch over Skype every day. Skype keeps families close, ensuring that whether near or far, relatives can always come together for the moments that matter most.

To help us capture the special family moments that are taking place over Skype, we called on award-winning mixed-media artist John Clang. By cleverly combining a Skype video call with digital projection and photography, Clang displays faraway family members together for innovative portraits that would otherwise be nearly impossible to achieve. Check out the video below as Skype and the artist reunite Lindsay in Alabama with her ‘second family’ down under, along with some furry and feathered friends that brought them all even closer.

Now we’re asking you to tell us how your family stays in touch whenever you’re apart. Whether you’re using Skype for weekly catch-ups with the parents, to be present for loved ones’ major milestones, or simply to surprise relatives from afar, we’d love for you to share your story with us.

The most compelling and original submission will win* your family the chance to have your very own John Clang portrait and a trip to bring you and your relatives together. Visit www.skypestaytogether.com to tell us how your family stays in touch via Skype and discover more family moments. Be sure to stay tuned for more videos of Skype family portraits in the making, including Denis with his relatives in Uganda and Julia with her cousins in Brazil. We can’t wait to hear all the ways Skype is helping your family stay together!

* No purchase to enter. Open to legal residents of the 50 US (+D.C.) 18+.  Ends July 22, 2013. Prize paid in the form of a $10,000 travel certificate.  See full Official Rules for details.
