Skype 4.6 for iPhone & iPad with a new calling experience
Today we’re pleased to release Skype for iPhone and iPad, version 4.6.
New features and improvements:
- New, beautiful calling experience
- One-to-one chats now appear in the correct order
- Option to select your message as ‘read’ with just a few taps
- General fixes and improvements
Supported Devices & Operating System:
Skype for iPad version 4.6 supports iPad, iPad 2, iPad mini and the latest iPad with Retina Display. Skype for iPhone version 4.6 supports iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, plus 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation iPod Touch. iOS 5.0 or later is required on all devices.
We recommend that everyone upgrades to the newly released Skype for iPhone and Skype for iPad applications from the Apple App Store. We are always interested in hearing your feedback, so please report any issues to our Skype Support Network.

It is awesome for Apple customers that you keep adding features for their platform. It would be amazing if your own company platform would get at least equal treatment. I hope we get an improved Windows Phone experience…soon.
