Skype 6.2 for Mac with eGifting
Today we have released a new version of Skype for Mac.
New features and improvements in Skype 6.2 for Mac include:
- eGifting: Skype users can now send a gift of credit to anyone they care about on their birthday
- One-way SMS without verifying your mobile number

When you get a birthday notification you can choose to gift someone with credit on their birthday. They can use the credit to call you or anyone they care about, at any time.

Now you can send one-way SMS without having to add and verify your mobile number.

Resolved issues:

I’d love to download the new Skype for Mac, but the idiot webmasters keep giving me WINDOWS binaries (.exe) when even the link says .DMG. Get it together, Microsoft, I know you guys can do better than this.
what about linux ? you released 6.2 for Windows and Mac but skype for linux is version 4.1 and it has many bugs that you didn’t fix
