Steven Tyler Holds Memorable Skype Call with Boy Battling Cancer
While we generally see celebrities walking the red carpet or crossing the big screen in major hit films, we recently came across an amazing every day story that inspired us involving Aerosmith front man, rock star and American Idol judge Steven Tyler and a strong boy battling cancer.
Diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain cancer, 7-year old Cole Grace of West Warwick, Rhode Island hasn’t had a traditional childhood. Restricted to his hospital bed, Cole told his family about his wish to sing his favorite song, “Walk This Way,” with his idol Steven Tyler. Despite the distance between them, this past spring, Cole’s wish came true.
Through a Skype video call, Cole and Steven connected face-to-face for a one-hour conversation including a special performance of “Walk This Way.” To hear how the once-in-a-lifetime Skype performance impacted Cole’s life, watch the video below.
