Skype is everywhere! While we often talk about the great stories of how every-day users and businesses are connecting using Skype, it’s also frequently used by another key set of people – celebrities and pop-culture figures. International pop music sensation Beyoncé used a Skype video call to surprise the winner of her “End Of Time” Remix competition. The winner, Poland-native Jimek, won $4,000 USD, and his remix will appear on Beyoncé’s upcoming EP, “4: THE REMIX.” View the full video below:
Comedian, TV/radio personality and podcaster Adam Carolla was recently interviewed by San Diego’s 102.1 KPRiFM radio DJ Dan Brozo. Carolla regularly uses Skype to connect with his podcast’s guests and listeners.
