Celebrate Internet Week Europe 2011 with free Skype WiFi in the UK
To celebrate Internet Week Europe 2011 (7 -11 Nov) we’re giving everyone in the UK up to 60 minutes of free access to public wireless hotspots with Skype WiFi.
Skype WiFi is the convenient, one-click way to get online at wireless hotspots and pay by the minute using Skype Credit. All you need to use Skype WiFi is the latest version of Skype and a compatible wireless hotspot.
From 0001 GMT on November 7 to 2359 GMT on November 11, 2011, Skype WiFi will be free to use for up to 60 minutes; so you can surf the web, send email and make free Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls at Skype WiFi-enabled hotspots in cafés, hotels and airports across the UK.
Internet Week Europe is an event open to everyone and dedicated to celebrating Europe’s internet culture and community. Last year it included 130 events hosted by the very best of Europe’s digital industry.
Now in its second year, Internet Week Europe is poised to reach an even larger audience, engaging a broader European community.
