Skype 5.1 for Mac hotfix – Resolved Skype crashing on startup for small number of users
We have just released a hotfix to Skype 5.1 for Mac, with this hotfix we are resolving a startup crash for people who were affected by yesterdays Skype issues, for more info go to our Heartbeat site.
Start downloading it now.
This hotfix is required for everyone who were affected by yesterdays issue and who have not manually deleted their Skype’s configuration file, shared.xml.
