Free WiFi at over 100,000 hotspots on Sunday
This summer at Skype, we’re helping you talk football with the world for free. On Sunday, Skype is making Skype Access, the one-click Internet access feature, available for free at over 100,000 WiFi hotspots worldwide in celebration of the final match.
With Skype Access you can pay for WiFi access per minute using Skype Credit. All that’s needed is a connection to a Skype Access compatible hotspot and the latest version of Skype for Mac or Windows computers.
From 0001 GMT to 2359 GMT on Sunday 11 July 2010, Skype Access will be free to use, so you can surf the web, send email and make free Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls at over 100,000 WiFi hotspots in cafés, hotels and airports worldwide.
