    What is Skype Gadget exactly?

    > I get the message that Skype4Com is already installed,

    Skype4COM normally comes together with normal Windows Skype and gets installed in C:Program FilesCommon FilesSkype

    Version .32 was published here ahead of time so that people can test their applications with the new version.

    Hi,

    Problem of latest versions of skype4com is in using SkypeMessageStatus and other on…status procedures from delphi6.

    When I use skype.onmessagestatus:=SkypeMessageStatus
    This error is displayed – “Parameter lists differ”

    //in examples
    procedure SkypeMessageStatus (Sender: TObject;const pMessage:IChatMessage;Status:TChatMessageStatus);

    OK, I made change parameters as in

    //in SKYPE4COMLib_TLB
    procedure SkypeMessageStatus (Sender: TObject; var pMessage: OleVariant;Status: TChatMessageStatus);

    or

    //component declaration
    procedure SkypeMessageStatus (Sender: TObject; var pMessage: OleVariant;Status: TOleEnum);

    porgram compiled ok,
    message is sent OK,

    but, procedure.onmessagestatus is not executed and form is crashed after error message from “variants.pas”: Invalid variant type conversion

    line 620: if VariantChangeTypeEx(Dest, Source, $400, 0, DestType)> VAR_OK then VarCastError;

    Thank you for any suggestion

    Skype is evil because Skype will permanently keep your Skype account no matter what. After the time-wasting hassle of sending e-mail concerns and sending e-mail complaints regarding account deactivation and account cancellation when I don’t need these guys, Skype is evil – because once you sign up, their genetically-engineered artificial toxic will preserve their names and their personal data so they will never decompose and will never corrode as they will linger throughout the servers of soul-less minds. If anything like this, Skype will end up becoming like a landfill full of unused accounts, making it not efficient and not good for the server environment.

    So before you sign up at Skype, you better think of a good reason about why they will keep their account names for no reason. Skype is evil.

    Hi, there,

    Do the Skype4COM.dll(1.0.32.0) support PlaceCall the PSTN numbers in China by using a China-Skype Credit account?

    Such as “SKYPE4COMLib::PlaceCall(“*02988892077″)”? (I remembered I did this success in 1 month ago, it is succes, but now, seems never work again).

    I tested Skype4COM.dll(1.0.32.0) for PlaceCall(“+8602988892077″) with a international Skype account, it works.

    I tested ONLY use the SkypeClient(http://download.skype.tom.com/Tom-SkypeSetup.exe V4.0 or V3.6 or V3.8) [windows platform], called the “*02988892077″, it also works.

    The question is “How to get the +99008668046 pre-PARTNER_HANDLE-name before invoking the PlaceCall api make a call? Because I only know the call number +8602988892077.”
