Skype 4.0 for Windows hotfix

We’ve released a hotfix to Skype 4.0 for Windows.

This update resolves the problem in the previous release of Skype 4.0 (4.0.0.215) which prevented the Skype Extras Manager from being installed .

We recommend that everyone upgrades to the new build.

I downloaded the file and it still shows ver. 4.0.0.215
I tried downloading it from the website, then from the link posted above by Raul.
Still, on Skype website it says ver. 4.0.0.216 !!
    So, which is which ?!?

I downloaded the ver 4.0.0.215 and installed in my computer. When I connected with the friends of mine, they can receive my vedio and audio. I received their audio and can see my local vedio, but can’t see my friend’s vedio. I tried the ver 4.0.0.216 and it does the same thing. I even can’t uninstall it because window uninstaller complained that can’t open the registry. Please help.

Hi I upgraded to the latest version of Skype on windows vista last night. Previous version was working fine – now it won’t allow me to connect. When I try and connect and go online the little disk keeps turning and turning and nothing happens. No error message but eventually it tells me that I am not connected and I must check my internet connection, even though I am connected and on line. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey I am having a huge problem with Skype right now. This may have already come up in earlier posts but Whenever I try to launch Skype 4, Skype shuts down and says “Skype has stopped working.” I can’t figure out what I am running that might be making Skype fail. I have downloaded almost every update that has been available but to no avail. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Any info would be great. Thanks.

It seems to me the problem with 4.0 has NOT been resolved. I get access error messages and now unable to use Skype at all because it won;t even open. I have downloaded and installed the new version given by Raul (above) but NOTHING works. This is very frustrating. Can someone really help, please? Thanks
