Learn how business, big and small, use Skype to save time and money

Using Skype with salesforce.com just got a whole lot easier

Salesforce.com is an easy-to-use Web-based CRM solution for sales, service, marketing, and call centre operations. It is used by thousands of small and medium businesses, as well as larger enterprises. Now you can easily use Skype to click-to-call all your contacts from directly within salesforce.com. This can save lots of time and make your life a whole lot easier. See the image below for an example of how this works.

To see a more detailed demonstration of Skype and salesforce.com, watch this short video tutorial.

If you are an existing salesforce.com user and already using Skype, you should automatically be able to use this feature. It works in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

For those who are not using Salesforce.com and would like to find out more, visit the salesforce.com app exchange

The announcement was made today at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco.

Skype has been the most valuable business tool for me and I have just started using salesforce.com.

For the life of me I can’t find a way to get salesforce.com to integrate with the Mac version of Skype.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Hi Phil,

Unfortunately the Skype toolbars and salesforce.com integration do not currently work with Skype for Mac. However we are working on this and hope to release it in the not too distant future.

Is there a way to be kept up-to-date on the Mac version?

    Thanks

I used to have the numbers in salesforce automatically be in the format I could just click now that is not happening. I logged on to here to see if there is something to download again.

Can anyone help me fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance

I downloaded the new version of Skype (3.6 to 3.8) and I don;t see anything in the IE or Firefox Salesforce.I see no add-in in FF. I do see an add-in in IE but still not clickable phone numbers in either browser.

    What gives?
ANd what the heck is Business manager for Skype? Do I need this?

I use Saleforce in my business http://www.jetinteractive.com.au/ and the skype for salesforce application works perfectly for those staff that run PCs but not those on Macs. I realise that this app is only designed for windows but all Macs are intel based and run windows using VM Fusion.

The Skype for saleforce app seems to run but the skype account will not log in.

Is there any help for this as we have 5 very frustrated Mac users that love Skype and love Salesforce.

We are happily running Skype 4.0 on the Windows side of the Mac so I don’t think that is the problem

Hi, we at KPI Library are Salesforce, Skype and MAC users. Any update on the release date of this functionality?
