While going through big changes inside the team, [Jira](https://developer.skype.com/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa), our bug tracking system for developers, appears to be a rock in stormy times. Life in Jira is like always – new bugs and problems coming in and solutions going out. I have combined a list of known problems and recently fixed issues which should give a nice overview of what is going on in that area. This information is of course also available for everybody who cares to make some searches in Jira, but I would guess most people find it easier to get the updates from my blog posts.

Public API (SPA Jira project):

+ [SPA-460](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-460) – Can remotely resume call while another is in progress. So it’s possible to have two ongoing calls when playing with On Hold through the API. The fix is planned to the beginning of the next year hopefully.

Extras (PIF Jira project):

+ [PIF-757](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-757) – PromptForOrder fails in a scenario where the Extra is launched by the Extras Manager automatically after first closing down Skype and the Extra. More information in Jira. This problem will be fixed in the future version of Extras Manager.
+ [PIF-767](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-767) – Fix the annoyances in the Extras Gallery editing information section.
+ [PIF-783](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-783) – Offline and Online contacts are sometimes mixed in the Extras Manager invitation dialog.
+ [PIF-768]( https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-768) – OPEN USERINFO is spelled wrong in the Skype API Tracer and in the API documentation. The docs have been fixed now, but the tracer still needs updating.

+ [SPA-428](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-428) – [Linux] Memory leak using API: alter call transfer xxx. Fixed in Skype for Linux 2.0
+ [SPA-377](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-377) – [Linux] Implement UI-related API calls and notifications on Linux – partly fixed. OPEN FILETRANSFER is working with Fixed in Skype for Linux 2.0. Many other API commands still not working with Linux. More information about the problematic API’s from Jira.
+ [SPA-422](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-422) – [Linux] Can’t automatically close the popup window on outgoing. Fixed in Skype for Linux 2.0
+ [SPA-416](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-416) – [ACL] Access shouldn’t be asked twice, when the access status has been changed already from the list. This has been fixed in Skype for Windows 3.6
+ [SPA-419](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-419) – Sound is heard on device different that specified in AUDIO_OUT (Speakers) setting. Fixed in Skype for Windows 3.6
+ [SPA-372](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-372) – [Mac] OPEN CHAT giving error. Problem was confirmed with Skype for Mac 2.6.0.151 and fixed 2.7
+ [SDS-250](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SDS-250) – Question related to new API connection protocol. You can find a nice explanation about the new concept how application will be able to connect to Skype API.

Extras (PIF Jira project):

+ [PIF-776](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-776) – Premium Extra Not Appearing in users ‘Do More’ Menu. This was a problem with a specific Extra but others might find the solution useful also.
+ [PIF-701](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-701) – Can’t add in “skype-plugin:open?id=(sparc id)” to Download URL section of Extras Gallery. This should be fixed now but hasn’t been verified by the 3rd party developers yet.
+ [PIF-687](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-687) – Extras manager doesn’t update extras information as often as it could/should. Fixed in EM 1.5.0.32 which can be downloaded with Skype for Windows 3.6.0.216 (Gold version). The old EM had some restrictions which made the update to be very rare in some cases.
+ [PIF-742](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-742) – Error: “Unable to Initialize DRM Service”. Fixed in Extras Manager 1.5.0.32
+ [PIF-650](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-650) – When installing Skype for the first time then during the first minutes the list of Extars in the Do More menu was very old. This problem lasted until the Extras Manager made an update. Now the list should be updated and showing more recent Extras.
+ [PIF-777](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-777) – Old extras showing up in Extras Manager. There was a problem on the server which should be fixed now.
+ [PIF-673](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-673) – Getting a Buy Now message on a free Extra. This problem started in summer due to a bug in the Publishing Studio. The customers who faced this problem simply had to click on that Buy Now link and the Free licence was granted. No new customers should be facing this problem now.
