Here is an update from Jira, which is our issue tracking system and where all the bugs should end up eventually so that our team could work on fixing them for you.

If you can still reproduce any of the fixed problems below, please add a comment to Jira so that we would know to take another look. If you have additional comments to any known issues, also feel free to add them to Jira. And of course if you have some other problems with the API or Extras, use Jira to let us know about them also.

**Public API** (SPA Jira project):

+ [SPA-296](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-296) – With Skype4Com an error is received when resetting AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT to a windows default by sending a command without a parameter.
+ [SPA-371](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-371) – Data losses/transformations when sending data over app2app connection when Japanese region/keyboard is installed in the computer. When implementing app2app binary transmissions, an encoding method must be used that only uses 7-bit or lower symbol codes in strings passed to Skype4Com routines.
Some instructions for how to deal with this issue can be found from here. Pay attention to the “Another note on Skype4Com library” paragraph.
+ [SPA-416](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-416) – Access in the ACL form shouldn’t be asked twice, when the access status has been changed already from the list. This problem occurs in a certain situation which has been described in more detail in that Jira case.
+ [SPA-413](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-413) – Can not set AUDIO OUT to Bluetooth device, an error “ERROR 50 cannot set device” is received.
+ [SPA-342](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-342) – More general problem with call transfer -not possible to call back to the B after the B has transferred the call to C already. More details in Jira.

**Extras** (PIF Jira project):

+ [PIF-601](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-601) – Tools>Do More often does not display the Extras. This has been a long standing issue, also mentioned in my previous Jira update but I want to mention it again so that people would add more Skype logs as this is the only way we can get to the bottom of this. Please notice that it would be good to have Skype logging on all the time to catch this bug as otherwise it’s too late to enable logging once you have already noticed this happening.
+ [PIF-687](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-687) – Extras manager doesn’t update extras information as often as it could/should so many customers are seeing some old version of Extras in the Manager. We have found the reasons for this problem and are working on finding a suitable solution. It might take some time to get fixed though as some high profile decisions need to be made first.
+ [PIF-618](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-618) – Recurrent Licence type for an Extra is documented but not available in Publishing Studio.
+ [PIF-697](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-697) – User receiving “Failed to make a purchase: you were not charged” message whey trying to buy an Extra. This can happen in the case when the credits are running low and is related to billing. It’s being worked on.
+ [PIF-673](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-673) – Sometimes there is a Buy Now message with a free Extra. Due to some glitches in the licensing system this can sometime happen. Clicking on this message will take the customer to web where the license is granted. We are trying to get the text on this warning message to be changed as it’s confusing for the customers.

**Public API** (SPA Jira project):

+ [SPA-174](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-174) – How to send Audio to VOICEMAIL. The following new API commands have been added to fill this gap: VOICEMAIL SET INPUT / SET OUTPUT / CAPTURE MIC. More information can be found from DevZone.
+ [SPA-248](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-248) – Problem with Skype4Com: Holding a one-way video call returns vssPaused on resume, for a client with no camera. As a solution implemented the following new call video status events below, which are available on the .28 version of Skype4COM DLL (download). Some nice examples can be found from here.:

+ _ISkypeEvents::CallVideoReceiveStatusChanged
+ [SPA-333](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-333) – Cannot set the second audio device if the device name has „(2)“ in the end of the it. „ERROR 50 cannot set device“ was received. This should have been fixed in 3.5.0.239
+ [SPA-349](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-349) – Under Skype4Com, cannot distinguish a contact with “,” (comma) from 2 contacts. For example a contact’s handle is “abc,def”. It wasn’t possible to distinguish if it is 1 contact named “abc,def”, or 2 contacts named “abc” and “def”. This should be fixed in the .28 version of Skype4COM DLL which can be downloaded from here.

**Extras** (PIF Jira project):

+ [PIF-671](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-671) – “Checking for available licenses” message when attempting to launch Extras. This should be fixed from the Easybits side, a manual Refresh Licenses action might be required from the customer.
+ [PIF-691](https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/PIF-691) – Time based licenses don’t expire correctly. Licenses set to last for only 1 day didn’t expire properly, but this has been fixed in Skype version 3.5.0.202 and above.
