Skype 3.5 for Windows hotfix
Today we have released a hotfix for Skype 3.5 for Windows.
Newly released build fixes some issues form the previous release and thus it is recommended to update when you are experiencing any problems with Skype. You can download it from right here.
Changes in comparison with previous release are:
* known issue: Video preview may not display on computers with Windows 2000. Video calls will work though.
* bugfix: Web URI Skype?chat did not work
* bugfix: Upgrade dialogue did not open on Skype restart
* bugfix: Skype freeze on rare cases on start-up
* bugfix: Skype may have crashed when making a call for small number of users

After several failed attempts to install the standard Skype installation on my new laptop, this Hotfix worked perfectly for me. I have a Sony SZ5 laptop with Vista Business. However, Skype should put this Hotfix on their main download webpage, so that Vista users can see what to do immediately, rather than hunt around the website.
