I downloaded Skype 3.5 and found that my response times tripled from around 450 ms to 1500ms when speaking to my son in London (I called from Cape Town). I used my laptop with 3.5 and immediately compared the response time using our desktop, which still uses 3.2. I then reverted to Skype 3.2 on the laptop, and got the better response time (450 ms) again. So it seems as if 3.5 needs some work. My son, studying at Imperial College in London, says that the additional features in 3.5 may be responsible. Any comments?

It would be nice to everyone. If, the people in the TECHNICAL/SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT could fix the problem with respect to SKYPE compatibility with VISTA. Everyone, now a days are using VISTA. And, it seems almost all of the new PCs’ and Laptops’ in the market are coming out with VISTA.
