History repeating

icon_skypepro_84x84.png We have yet another first on Skype for Mac feature to announce. Or actually it is the same new feature out first on Skype for Mac for the second time. Now Skype Pro subscribers can transfer SkypeIn calls and transfer calls to SkypeOut contacts. It works just like transferring a Skype-to-Skype call on Skype 2.6 for Mac.

I’m very happy about the mac client evolutions but, when will be the skypecast fully integrated on the Mac platform? I manage a weekly chat group on paltalk and we are just waiting for skypecasts on mac to switch.

(Obviously I would like it on the linux client too, but at the moment is most urgert the video support)

That’s great. Even greater (and I imagine simpler to implement) would be to give Mac-users the same options that Windows-users have to set the number of rings before calls are diverted to skype-out/voicemail. I don’t understand why such an obvious feature still isn’t available – or have I missed something??

i’d like to be able to set the number of rings on skype for ‘os x’ as well. maybe before halloween?

I am returning to Mac Skype after a year or so. I cannot get 2.7 to run on Mac OS 10.3.9. Have I missed something? Thank you.
