Nine million online

On January 29, we saw over nine million people online in Skype for the first time ever. As you may have noticed, this blog is undergoing a bit of a Mac takeover, so this is what the onliners figure looks like in Skype for Mac.

9 million online

Next up: double digits in the millions department. I wonder if our testers have actually tested that it will display fine, or will it crash and burn as soon as it hits the tenth million…

Jaan, I’m sure the ten million will display just fine…I’m sure the developers have unit tested it already…;-)

I guess skype , could have more users and be the first !!, the only problem is the difficulty to load money with their system Money booker , before i manage to load with my master card without problem , suddently all went wrong for no reason ,when my card was valid , i had to go to a nasty experience call Money booker .. so in order to send money to their account , they need to check all , after a lenghy interogation on your email , they debit you a small amount on you credit card , and you are supposed to tell them the amount to have your money load …thats inept !!, guess what , i have no internet banking system , my statement is send every month , so what do i do in the meantime if i need to call urgently ?? ,after a while they told me they refund me this amount and cancel , but i stll have an account with 2 gbp on it that i was obliged to open ?? my solution so I dont use skype with my login name .. , the only solution i found was to use my sister skype account and she load money for me , i think this situation is absurd .imagine how can some remote people understand anything about this money booker system !!

why skype do not try to have prepaidcard VALID WORLWIDE that we can buy in any country , scratch and imput the number in order to load . ?
Or to find an easy way for customer to load their account ..not with a lenghty interogatory and checking of the checking …

aswell skype is not agressive on the market for the following reason , there is no proper sales DIRECT TO CUSTOMER and sales people making demonstration of the system , selling the skype /product to company and all benefit it can make for instance in vietanm /cambodia a big company can reach up to 3000 usd to 4000 usd of tel bill ,
aswell some people seems to have problem to use it perhaps by their fault , for instance ,my boss told me tried it before at home ,and it never works , i told him i will install it in office and it worked perfectly .so perhap little training for use , can be requested for some customer . I hope my humble comment will make Skype realize that improvement can be made only in the quality of the service of calling only which is excellent with their questionnaire after caling ,, but aswell in making customer to load their account easily .

Oh no! kype mustn’t go! I am so glad about each new Skype that comes! The Skype 3.1 BETA is brilliant! I sent a few suggestions in, everyone so I hope that it will let Skype go up to 11 million! But hope Skype won’t go EVER! It must stay untill version 20! Or later, maybe v 25! Wonder how it will be like . . . But only in lotsa years time!
