Skype for Windows 3.0 update
Today we have released hotfix update to Skype for Windows 3.0.
It’s recommended to update your Skype client to latest version.
Released version, 3.0.0.205, has following changes compared to previous:
* bugfix: ‘Add SkypeOut Contact’ opens wrong dialogue
* bugfix: API: FOCUSED notifications missing
* bugfix: Hotkeys did not work correctly
* bugfix: Upgrade from client crashed on some rare cases
* bugfix: Skypecasts host is always shown as connected
* bugfix: Skypecasts incorrect number of participants showed
* bugfix: Skypecasts buttons are out of align for host
* bugfix: Rare error when joining conf call and 1:1 call simultaneously
* bugfix: Closing chat with non-authorized contact results an error message
* bugfix: Cancelling file transfer causes crash
* bugfix: File Transfer notification not formatted correctly
* bugfix: Sound Setting Widget: Mic indicator shouldn’t move, if microphone is muted
* bugfix: Sound Setting Widget layout design is messed up due to resize under Vista
* bugfix: Update Extras Manager menus to remove 2nd line of text
* bugfix: Issue in Finnish and Hungarian language files caused an error message when adding a friend

Plenty of people are still having this problem. Care to answer your customers?!?
How come “Check for Update” refused to find this new 205 version? I was on 198 and had to download 205 directly. It seems the update facility is flakey.
And while on that subject, how come anyone on Skype 2.5 doesn’t get offered to upgrade to 3.0 when check updates?
Is it coming as an automatic update to 300190 later? Check updates says I have the latest and as it happens today was the day when I was looking to solve some Skype related problems
In the forum, it would be a good idea to put a date on the announcement, when posted, not only when it expires.
In general, it would be nice if we didn´t have to re-sign in on every page we are visiting on the skype domain; like when we go from the forum to here.

I’m in USA and my friend in Vietnam. Everytime, we chat its dropped all the time. Sometimes, stay for about an hour. Most of time, dropped withins 10 min. Please let me know why. Thanks for the help.
I have the same issue as Thaits. My Skype-Out calls to Jamaica droped once in 24 minutes. There was also a slight overlap in the conversation. Didn’t seem to be true full-duplex. My DL/UL to Cayman (closet speed test to Jamaica) was 2.7Mb/491kb
When you have call drops then please report them to Customer Support.

This was fixed in 3.0.0.198.
Everytime I try to make a call to Jamaica I see a message that it is an invalid numner. It is not an invalid number. What’s up with that? Is it just me or is this skype thing just bogus? I use the area code and the correct phone number.
