### New pricing plan for SkypeOut in January
We [announced](http://about.skype.com/2006/12/skype_to_announce_disruptive_p.html) that we will have a [new pricing structure for SkypeOut](http://heartbeat.skype.com/2006/12/new_skypeout_pricing_structure.html) in January. Among other things, it will include a connection fee for the calls. More details coming up in January 2007.
### The Skype “worm”
We learned of an alleged Skype worm circulating your computers and news this week. [More on the security blog.](http://blogs.skype.com/sites/security/2006/12/reports_of_skype_worm.html)
### Skype for Business control panel updates
Ok, this isn’t exactly from this week, but it deserves to be here nevertheless, as you may have missed it otherwise. [Skype for Business control panel updates.](http://blogs.skype.com/sites/business/2006/12/enhancements_to_the_business_c.html) Among other things, you can now get up to 33 sequential SkypeIn numbers. (Guys, what’s with the figure though? 33? Huh?
You should have made it 42 then.) More details and control panel screenshots coming up in January.
I just wonder what is the explanation behind the introduction of a connection fee and if there is more information about its exact structure from Skype? I spent about 10 minutes now going through the website, but didn’t see anything on any of the skypeOut pages… Thanks!
