Enhancements to the Business Control Panel

We have just released some enhancements to the [Skype for Business Control Panel](http://www.skype.com/products/skypegroups/).

Key new features include:

* Improved usability with an updated interface
* Invite people from your Skype contact list to join, directly from the control panel
* Ability to remove pending users
* Control Panel managed SkypeIn numbers (see below for description)
* Ability to register blocks of sequential SkypeIn numbers for the company

Control Panel managed SkypeIn numbers

This is one of the main things business users have been asking for. In the past if you assigned a SkypeIn number to someone via the control panel, the service then lived on the individual’s account rather than the Control Panel account. Obviously this was not ideal for businesses. So we have fixed it…..

Any SkypeIn numbers purchased through the control panel now belong to the control panel. This means that if someone leaves the company, you can simply reassign their SkypeIn number to another employee. Please note; this only applies to the SkypeIn numbers purchased through the Control Panel. If the number was purchased through the user’s personal account, then the it belongs to them and it is not manageable through the Business Control Panel.

Sequential SkypeIn numbers for businesses

Another great new feature for business users is that you can now purchase blocks of sequential SkypeIn numbers for the company. These numbers can then be assigned or reassigned to different employees, creating a more professional image for the company e.g. employee a: XXX XXX 1234, employee b: XXX XXX 1235 etc.

You can purchase up to 33 sequential numbers per purchase (dependent on availability). SkypeIn numbers are currently available in the US, UK, France, Hong Kong, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Estonia, Australia, Brazil and Japan.

How to join

These changes are now live for all Control Panel users.

If you are not already using the control panel, you can [Sign up for Free](https://secure.skype.com/business/info/login.html?)

Or [Existing users can log-in](https://secure.skype.com/business/info/login.html)

I am having a similar issue as tonyb20. After successfully purchasing two Skype In numbers and adding a minimal amount of credit to my account using a paypal account, I have been unable to purchase anymore credit to purchase Skype Out. Although I can place an order through paypal, my order continues to be cancelled almost immediately by Skype.

Could you please fix this issue and let me know when it is fixed. I need to purchase Skype Out before December 31 so we can continue to use Skype.

    Thanks for your assistance,
    Scott

Do any one know how to pay Unlimited Calling for multiple member accounts using the business account panel?

I don’t have enough credit cards to for each member accounts individually.

    Thanks!

I want to use Skype for my business and add around 18 employees. Can I buy the unlimited calling for $14.95 for each of my employees? I am not interested in using a skype credit system to pay per min.

I have the same questions about the Unlimited Calling Plan. I want to purchase this for all my US employees and also manage the SkypeOut credit for all our employees (US and European). I would like to buy the Unlimite Calling Plan prior to the end of the month to get the $14.95 price, but with no one answering this blog, I don’t know where to get any info. Looks like I will have to ask our US employees to buy it themselves and then expense it (what a lot of paperwork nonsense).

I’ve got the same problem as the first two comments, plus a couple more!

I have just purchased two new SkypeIn numbers through the Business Control Panel however the supposedly free Voicemail has not activated for either account. I tried relogging but to no avail.

Also, the above blog mentions the ability for Businesses to purchase sequential SkypeIn numbers through the Control Panel, however when I purchased mine this wasn’t an option.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Same question as above…. not sure what the point of this blog is if Skype has no one looking in and answering any of the questions… there is something very wrong if they can advertice free voicemail and then not supply it.

Has anyone any other ideas on how to contact anyone at Skype??

    Thanks

Hello all, regarding these questions and issues outlined above, I have tried to address them in a blog post here http://blogs.skype.com/sites/business/2007/01/three_faqs_about_the_control_p.html

I hope this helps explain things and offer a workaround where possible.

My problem with business panel is that somehow I created two business panel consoles, one with each of my two skype accounts. I made each skype account a member of the other account’s business console panel.

Now I’m locked out of both Business panel console’s admin page. And the skype support people don’t seem to be helpful with solving this problem (or believing me when I tell them that I’m blocked from using either Business panel console admin page).

For being a Business version, it has little of different regarding that one home. An administrator whom he wants to install on the own such net version, would want that he could himself be trained from a single point the calls in income and expenditure, in order not to distogliere and or to annoy the collaborators who “ingenuously” can disattivare the control in the card of the PRIVACY. Excused for my English
