Sidewalk Sale in New Jersey
One of our partners [New York Communications]( http://www.nycommsdirect.com) has just sent in these photos from their Englewood Chamber Of Commerce Sidewalk Sale in New Jersey last weekend.
The folks from NY Comms were providing advice to businesses and consumers about how Skype works and had a number of Skype certified devices on display. They will be looking to hold more of these events in the coming weeks, including one on Times Square in New York.

who design it? just appreciate the talent. Did the promotion succed?
Thanks for your feedback, it stands about 5ft tall, and could been seen from quite a distance. I am not sure on the designer as the display came from the DUALphone manufacturer; I have emailed them to find out and will post later.
Yes the promotion was very successful, we had a laptop with a WiFi connection set up with a DUALphone and a Webcam, and the public were are able to make free calls to anywhere in the world. Those that had not heard of Skype were amazed, and those that had heard of it but did not have Skype called their friends that did have it and promptly bought a Skype Phone.
We had a few people that have friends that had Skype but did not really know what it was and what it was about, so this gave then a good chance to get an understanding and to see it in use, as well as hear the voice quality.
One of the calls we did was for a guy who had a friend in Israel, and he had not seen her for a long time, so we called her and she had a Web Cam and so they were able to Video call and catch up, he had his little baby with him that his friend had not seen, so he was able to show her, it was quite a touching moment.
