Skype partners with Sainsbury’s in the UK to offer eVouchers
[Sainsbury’s](http://sainsburys.co.uk) announced last week that they will be the first retailer in Europe to sell Skype Credit vouchers. The e-vouchers will be available at more than 600 Sainsbury’s outlets around the UK. Skype certified hardware will also soon be available to buy in stores.

Scott – I have looked at the Sainsbury availability and found that the stores that I have visited can sell one the Skype evouchers. However having said that when on goes into SkypeOut to topup credit with this evoucher then there is no option for Sainsbury’s evouchers. Wonder why?
You can redeem your eVoucher at http://www.Skype.com/voucher. The instructions on your Sainsburys’ receipt should also have the URL on it where you can go to redeem the credit.
Keep in mind that due to European regulations, Skype charges VAT on eVouchers redeemed within the EU. Unlike mobile phone companies, which charge VAT on every call, Skype removes the VAT when it is transferred to your account — all subsequent calls are VAT-free.
