Finding your SkypeIn number
Sometimes it’s the little things that matter. Here’s what someone asked me.

Fortunately, this is an easy one — just go to My Account at [www.skype.com/go/myaccount](http://www.skype.com/go/myaccount), where you will see your SkypeIn number loud and clear. A little bird tells me that next versions of Skype Client will also display this inline right on your desktop, so there won’t be a need to log on to see it. But for now, My Account helps you with everything regarding SkypeIn.
Does your little bird also tell you when we can expect the next version? I’m sure that you won’t be able to say to the exact date, but an educated ‘guesstimation’ will suffice.

ir_hop – the little bird told me that if I discuss specific dates of next versions, it flies back to kill me and everyone who reads it. so no specific dates for next releases at this time – but stay tuned.
Alfred Hitchcock’s movie might then just become reality. Alas, although I understand the corporate secrecy. I’m always tuned in… that’s for sure.
Well, plainly there is NO sign of my Skypein number on MyAccount page…Having paid for this, it would be nice to be able to use it.

I have much the same issue as noted above. I’ve ‘lost’ my new SkypeIn number. I purchased SkypeIn today and did not write down the number on the number selection page, not believing that might be the last I’d see of the number. What a way to run a railroad.
Regarding the “just go My Account” solution posited above, when I go to My Account, Skype is waiting to sell me another SkypeIn number, but offers no info about my existing number, other than referring me back to my invoice confirming that I’d purchased such. The number is not on the invoice. Clever? (NOT ;^)

I just bought a Skypein number but I can’t find anywhere on the account page.
The SkypeIn subscription says “Delivered” but the number is not there.

I can’t see my number either. Not good.
Not only can I not find my Skypein number which is supposed to come with my Skype pro but the to go number when dialed on my cellphone connects me to my Sprint Operator. I have been looking and trying for hours now. Everyone one of you has the same problem but none of us are getting an answer.
Yeah this is nuts. I’ve been looking for the better part of an hour now for my Skype number and it simply cannot be found. It’s not in my Skype client, it’s not on my account page – it’s nowhere. Goodbye Skype! This sucks. I can’t believe something so trivial has to be this complicated.
I had to click on the ACTIVATE button on the my account page before I got my skype phone number.One can see some stuff by going to the computer start /programs method,or by the web browser skype site method.I also found it good to clear my web browser,and login to skype with a fresh skype page.Then I chose my area code and country.Then it eventually gave me a new phone number with my local area code that I had chosen.It had not been clear what activate was going to activate.Firstly,and perhaps most importantly,I had subscribed for the USA unlimited plan,and chose to pay with Paypal.One could pay by credit card for the per call method,I guess.I need to figure out other things…I had some success by doing a google search on my skype question,also.
An easy one? I’ve been searching around “My Account” for 15-20 minutes and do not see my number — loud, clear or otherwise.
Either I’m blind (not), stupid (don’t think so), or it’s not as easy as you think!

SkypeIn numbers are now called Online Numbers, and there’s a tab at the top of the Account page – shout if you can’t find it and I’ll walk you through it
i just setup an Online Number after purchasing the unlimited country subscription. The number i setup does not show up anywhere in “My Account”… any ideas where it could be?

If you have active phone numbers then you’ll have an orange star next to the tab.
I’ve found the ‘Online Number’ Tab. It has an orange star next to it indicating that I have a number, but the tab is in the ‘Also Available’ section, is grey (not blue like the rest of the tabs) and does not in anyway show me what my existing number is.
This is nuts!! Either the app has a very basic flaw in that you cannot find your own number, or its got a more serious one – I was able to create an account, sign up for a monthly Unlimited World package, choose a number and pay for it. I have recieved a confirmation email. The bank has confirmed payment and the account says the package has been ‘delivered’. The app thinks I have a number….but I don’t. If I sign in with a different account and start to setup a number on it, then type in the number I’m pretty certain I chose on my main account it appears to be available for use.
Something’s awry.
I need some help to get through this. I already have a skype account but i need to know on what date or time of the month or year I created that account. I need to know the day my account came into being somebody help please . ITS URGENT
Sure, I love it when these Jokers say ‘it’s easy” NOT. Skype may be cheap but it’s settings and help are among the worse.
