Elderly people like Skype in a Finnish test
Here’s a test conducted in Finland about what elderly people think of various Instant Messengers. Skype was apparently liked more than the others. Here are some key points translated by a native speaker (thanks Mikko — Estonian and Finnish languages are equally wacko for the rest of the world

Fun fact: the Finnish translation of Skype is done by a volunteer who works as an organist in a church.
I have to say that since I have downloaded Skype a while a go, it has got better, and it is the best Internet chat software I have ever used!
It leaves Msn, Yahoo and the others way behind, nothing compares to skype, if it wasn’t for this great bit of software I wouldn’t be able to be in regular conatct with my friend in the U.S.A

My question is why can’t i have a “SKYPE voice” icon on my web site with this on it………………………………Example………………. “CALL US” …..from 9am to 2pm ……[clic for PORTUGUESE] [click for SPANISH] …..[clic for ENGLISH] ….. [clic for FRENCH] ……………………………………………………In ALL different Languages that i have chosen. Also with voice mail and a hold message that i would dictate for each language for the waiting customer on voice line. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT IDEA SINCE THE WORLD IS COMING MORE AND MORE TOGUETHER WITH THE INTERNET AND ALOT OF MULTILINGUAL BUSINESS WEB SITES WOULD ADOPT THIS SKYPE VOICE ON THEIR WEB SITE.
Does anyone know if we can use a 3 Skypephone already in Finland?
